Competition

NYIAA will present the New York International Artists Piano Competition, Violin Competition, Cello Competition and Voice Competition in March 2015. The contestants' performances will be auditioned and judged via on-line format. Contestants must submit recorded performances either by sending a DVD recording or by e-mailing a Youtube link. The content of the recordings must abide by the competition's rules and regulations regarding repertoire and length. All application documents and DVD recordings sent by mail should be postmarked on or before March 1, 2015. All Youtube links e-mailed to competition@nyiaa.org should be received by NYIAA on or before March 1, 2015.

Winners concerts will be held on June 21 and June 30, 2015 at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The contestants will need to submit a DVD video (non-returnable) or a Youtube link along with the completed application form and required materials in order to enter the competition. Please see our rules and regulation page for detailed information.


Schedule:

• March 1, 2015: Application postmark deadline


• March 25, 2015: Late application deadline (Additional $50 application fee required.)


• April 15, 2015: Announcement of the results on the NYIAA website


• June 21, 2015: Winners' awards ceremony and concert at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall


• June 30, 2015: Winners' awards ceremony and concert at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall
